Moment Bus Tracker
This app does one thing: it helps bus drivers at events share their live location so that festival-goers can see where the buses are on a map. That's it. We've kept this policy as short and honest as the app itself.
While you are actively tracking, the app collects and transmits:
Location data is used solely to display your bus as a moving marker on the event map inside the Moment app. Event attendees can see where buses are in real time — that is the entire purpose of this app.
Location updates are written to Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud database service provided by Google. Data is stored under the event organiser's account and is accessible to anyone viewing that event's map in the Moment app.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third party, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling of any kind.
Your location data is overwritten with each new GPS update — we only ever store your current position, not a history of where you've been. Bus entries may be cleared by the event organiser at the end of an event.
You are in control. Tracking only runs when you explicitly start it. You can stop at any time using the Stop Tracking button. You can also disconnect from an event entirely using the disconnect option in the app, which removes your association with that event on this device.
The app requires location permission to function — if you'd prefer not to share your location, simply don't use the app (or don't press Start Tracking).
This app is intended for use by adults in a professional capacity (bus drivers at events). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
