Moment Bus Tracker

How it works

Moment Bus Tracker is a companion app for the Moment Events platform. It streams live GPS locations from bus drivers' phones directly to Firestore, so festival attendees can see exactly where the buses are on the map in real time.

Your drivers download the app, scan the QR code from your Moment Builder, and they're immediately live — no IT setup required.

For Drivers

Getting started takes less than a minute:

1. Download Moment Bus Tracker from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the app and tap Scan QR Code.
3. Scan the QR code shown by your event organiser (from the Moment Builder).
4. Choose your bus name and icon, then tap Start Tracking.

Keep the app open while you're driving — your location updates automatically. If you stop the app, tracking stops.

For Event Organisers

Bus tracking is built into your Moment Builder dashboard — no separate setup needed.

• Log in to Moment Builder and open your event.
• Go to the Bus Tracking section to find your QR code.
• Share the QR code with your bus drivers — they scan it to connect instantly.
• If a driver can't scan, share the Bus Tracker ID and Password shown alongside the QR code for manual entry.

Once connected, bus locations appear live on the Moment Events map for all attendees. For more information, visit momentevents.co or getmoment.events.
